Program Details

The Wonder Woman Program is a fellowship supporting five woman aged 18-23 for the duration of their undergraduate course (up to five years) to have an opportunity to live to their potential.

Covers cost of essential needs of the awardee, e.g. food, accommodation etc.
Covers tuition fees of the awardee's undergraduate education and offers end-to-end support for the completion of their studies.
Organises additional support through personal mentoring & exposure activities to build independent living skills.

The program is for up to five (5) years, covering the duration of an undergraduate degree with an extension of a year of additional support, as appropriate. This shall be conditional on the candidate maintaining a satisfactory level of performance and engagement with the program.

The program aims to support advanced education designed to prepare candidates to work in a specific field. The program covers most common Bachelor’s degrees such as Business Administration, Management Studies, Science, Information Technology, Commerce, Computer Applications, Engineering, Nursing and Midwifery and Medicine.
Currently, the program DOES NOT COVER Bachelor’s programs in Fine Arts and/or Visual Communication.
Other courses/technical training programs not mentioned will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. We encourage candidates who may have enrolled in such courses to apply even if said course/program is not mentioned.
Candidate Selection

The program seeks candidates who fulfil the following criteria:
Aged 18-23.
Have spent time in a Children's Home / Shelter Home.
Motivated and driven to pursue undergraduate education.
Understand spoken English, Kannada.
Residing in Bangalore.

Qualifications of the candidate.
WWP will give priority to the ranking, or order of merit of the colleges/universities/institutes the candidate is enrolled/has secured admission into.
Preference to candidates with little or no support.
Preference will be given to applicants with lower financial capacity.
Preference will be given to candidates with higher drive/motivation for academic and professional success.
Preference will be given to candidates whose field of study is closely linked to their professional interests and career ambitions.

The program will support five woman aged between 18-23 for the duration of their undergraduate course in further education to have an opportunity to live to their potential.

Selection of candidates will happen over multiple rounds. Candidates selected through an initial round of applications may be required to submit a video essay detailing their motivations and participate in interviews with the Wonder Woman team and leadership. Final selection is made by the Wonder Woman leadership.

Candidates can expect to hear from us approximately within 3 weeks of submission of the Expression of Interest. Depending on the volume of applications, only selected candidates may be notified and communicated with for next steps.
